A display integrated in the lid indicates how much water has been filtered by the cartridge so far and how much can still be filtered. The complete filtering capacity can be adjusted to the local water quality.*
If the customer desires to reduce the hardness of water, up to 100 litres can be filtered with one cartridge. Approximately 150 litres can be filtered if the chlorine content is meant to be reduced.
*Note: Filters from the BRITA™ family use a memo-display that doesn’t take the local water quality into consideration. It implies that all water is of the same quality.
The „intelligent“ display function
After you have inserted an Aqua Select Plus® filter cartridge and activated the counting device, necessary cartridge changes will automatically be indicated. If the cartridge has filtered as much water as it can, the display will tell you to change it. In addition, a hidden clock times the days of use. When the maximum time of usage is reached, the display will also remind you to change the cartridge.
This way, you can be sure to always obtain perfectly filtered water and to use the cartridge optimally.
Simply practical to use
